Webflow localization is fantastic however it doesn't support locale-specific domains.
All localized pages are instead published under locale-specific paths like /en
, /fr
, and /ja
. While there is absolutely nothing wrong with this approach, it's limiting for those businesses who need to maximize their SEO at the country level.
For these businesses, it's more appealing to deliver each locale as a separate domain, e.g.;
https://www.mysite.com
( English only )https://www.mysite.fr
( French only )https://www.mysite.co.jp
( Japanese only ) The main reason to do this is that when users search for a site, they're more likely to see country-specific relavance first in search results. It also gives confidence that the site they're visiting is relevant to their market.
Sygnal Hyperflow can add this support to your site, and keep all of your administration and localization work unchanged.
