Migrating Sites to Webflow

Here's the basic workflow I use;

• Build phase
  • Design your Webflow site
  • Do all styling, art, interactions, dev, content
  • Do full testing- forms, automations, javascript, etc.
  • Get your customer approvals
• Migration phase
  • Extract and prepare your 301 redirect map
  • Any other special migration things, like inviting users to memberships
  • Setup Google Tag Manager and Analytics, and conversion tracking
• Pre-launch
  • Add the paid hosting plan to your new site
  • Bulk-import your 301 redirects
• Launch
  • Update your DNS to migrate your domain to Webflow
  • Setup Google Search Console
  • Re-test everything that matters
  • Tell the World
• Post launch
  • Shut down hosting on the old site
  • Open a beer
