To achieve members-only access, you need to decide on;

  1. Membership platform. What platform you're using for Memberships and logins
  2. Content access. How you want to control access to your courses.

Membership Platforms

This is a crucial part of your puzzle, since you need to be able to identify to is accessing your site, whether they are a current user, and what they're allowed to access.

As of Nov 2022, there are two main solutions;

  • Memberstack, which is a 3rd party solution.
  • Webflow Memberships BETA, which is currently in development, and [Nov 2022] not yet ready for production use.

However for this particular situation, both solutions would the the most basic content-access scenario.

Content Access

What do you need for content access-control?

  • Basic. All-or-nothing. Either you have a current account, and you have access to all of the courses, or you do not have a current account, and you can access only the public site pages.
  • Tiered. Group your courses, and your users, e.g. Silver, Gold, Platinum, and allow access by groups.
  • Advanced. The ability to control detailed course access on a per-user basis.

As you might imagine, the simpler the solution, the better.
