Occasionally designers post forum questions about more complex elements such as a Table of Content element.
Personally, I don't think it's likely we'll see many complex components like this as part of the platform.
From Webflow's perspective, the configuration UI's for these types of components are very complex, even for a basic feature set, and when you consider the range of things people want to be able to accomplish, we'd at best end up with an element that offers a 50% solution.
You can already see limitations in many of the current elements;
- The current slider cannot be bound to the CMS.
- Rich text elements do not have configurable spans & embeds for things like code excerpts.
- Rich text lists cannot be hierarchical
- Forms are missing common UI inputs like range sliders, date pickers, and rich text inputs.
- Forms support reCAPTCHA, but only Google's v2, and it's an all-or-nothing site-wide deal
- The lightbox does not support CMS-bound captions
- The map doesn't support styling or CMS integration
Recent announcements ( 2023 Q2 ) suggest that Webflow is working towards an environment that supports deeper 3rd party integration, and I'm hopeful we'll see something in the direction of a component store like WP, Wix, Squarespace offer.
But for the forseeable future, the best approach is embrace the script-based tools that Finsweet and other vendors provide to add the functionality you want.

Finsweet's;

It's pretty simple to implement and gives you all of the styling options you'd want in Webflow.
