If you've used Webflow's Legacy Content Editor on your website, chances are that it's still "switched on" in the background and loading additional JS, CSS, and assets for the editor environment.

That can noticeably impact the performance and smoothness of your site. Here's how to switch it off.

The Legacy Content Editor will be retired by mid-2025 in favor of Webflow's new client seats, which use the designer's edit mode- so this will no longer be an issue from that point.
